| As part of their community outreach program, the Boston Knitting Guild held a competition where each member designed and knitted a custom outfit for a Teddy Bear. Upon completion, the bears were given to Dana Farber for children undergoing cancer treatment. | I know it is really hot out there, but since I am sitting in air conditioning and pining for the cool fall weather, my needles are busy creating a waffle cone “hoodie” for a little boy or girl. Using 2 ply of the stitch boutique Australian merino. This yarn is soft and cozy and will be perfect for the playground. It also comes in a bunch of fun, lively colors perfect for children. |

| Check this out. I just had to share it with you all. It is the royal family knit……… There is a new book out with the patterns for each person, right down to the family dogs. (They are the most important members of the family). Planet Earth Fiber or wool yarn would be perfect for this.
Just need little bits and pieces to create to complete this project. Planet Earth Silk and wool has lots of colors in handy 28.5 yd mini skeins. |
